seriously....i havnt seen any posts about Blue yet....there used to be tons of people that went to Blue years ago on here.  just wondering if anyone wants to meet up out there.....i'm only 15 minutes from the mt. and willing to go anytime.

^ Yeah I was up there today teaching the wife how to ski.  Let me tell you, Blue's green trails are by far the scariest and sketchest runs on the entire mountain maybe in North America, I thought we were going to die today.

Jonkreation and I are up every weekend and our entire crew should be there next Saturday.

yeah, everything goes up at least one notch in difficulty on the weekend, usually two for a holiday weekend, but it really wasnt all too crowded today. we'll probably be there for the slopestyle that may or may not be happening on saturday, then i think back down to philly for some apres activities.

I dunno about season tickets, but you can get discount day tickets at Wick's Ski Shop, and probably just about every other ski shop in the area.

I got my season ticket cheap for working at a Wick's, I think that might be the only discount they offer other than pre-season sales.

Cleared the last jump in the line before the wallride once all day.  Kept knuckling maybe because of the new snow.  Just couldnt get enough speed.

same here. the snow was slow. i think all of the jumps are built well, its just the speed issue.

Yeah the jumps were built well, except for that step down, thats a waste.  Could have put something better in there.

The step down is sick because it has so much potential for butter tricks.  Problem is 20 people are on the landing whenever you hit it so it makes it so much more sketchy than it really is.   What would make it even better is if they put a gap in it early on so it becomes a platform jump with a jump on to the platform to a step down. Those setups have endless possiblities for tricks. Oh the 3 jump line should either be a two jump line or 3 smaller jumps in my opinion because Blue's snow seems to always create speed problems. Also, the first two rails should be setup properly as flat down rails so you actually have speed going into the next rails.  Just some thoughts.                 Touch The Sky!

agreed, but the snow is considerably slower right now than i think it's ever been in the 20 years i've been skiing there. making that last stepdown thing into a platform could be pretty fun, and definitely switch the up flats so they are flat down. they'd be way more fun that way.

just got back from Blue and the new set-up and features they threw out in the park are really sick. the first jump has a ton of pop to it which makes it very hard to overshoot. the second is a little more mellow, and the third is still big with a lot of pop... still very clearable if you hit the landings well on the rest of the line.

i know there is a shit-ton of "boulder hype" out there, but you have to be checkin' out Blue. its prime right now and the jumps are the best Blue has ever had.

friday's lookin to be pretty nice. last i was up was sunday, and the park was in awesome shape. first jump could be a little bigger, bit the 2nd one is ok, and the 3rd is the best jump blue's ever had. the rail line up top is all filled up and pretty fun now too. also, the canon box, quarterpipe with the corrugated pipe, and the wooden wallride are all really fun too. i think the only thing that sucks right now is the up to gap to down box at the very end.
