So today was my third day on the bindings, haven't given me any problems so far, hit a little kicker, landed switch a little sketchy, popped out of the binding, and couldn't pop back in. At first I thought "oh shit, I have to get new bindings." But after looking more closely I realized that the brake broke in half and now I'm thinking it might just need a new brake. The ...pad...thing your heel goes on is super loose and flimsy now though so I'm not sure. It is still attached but pretty much moves freely now, I don't know anything about bindings, please help!
So do you think this binding is repairable/just needs a new brake or am I going to have to warrenty it? My other concern is am I just going to have to get new bindings? I'm 195lb and stomp landings really hard, are these just not going to hold up or was it probably just a combo of bad landing and bad luck?
I've also got 90mm brakes on scratch ghetto's, but that's right isn't it?
Just thought I'd ask NS before I make the trip down to the only close ski shop which is like an hour, they have a repair shack at the mountain but its SoCal so of course they didn't carry brakes and I didn't even bother showing them.
And just to say thanks, have some ass I found when I dusted off my camera!
