Replying to riding switch

Quick question. I'm riding on 169cm PE's mounted in the stock location(where their supposed to be mounted). I watch all my buddies w/ center mounted bindings ride & land switch really easy, but every time I land switch it's all wobbely and uncoordinated looking:^) Anyway, I'm just wondering, should it be easy & smooth to ride switch? I'm sure my bindings mounted towards the back have alot to do w/ it. I can't move'em though, cause I ride backcountry powder(alaska) 1/4 of the time. Anyway, any hints/suggestions appreciated.
