Wearing a cup while skiing?

so im not sure if this should be in gear talk or SG, but after nutting my self on a down rail today, im thinking about starting to wear a cup. do any of you do this? does it help at all?

the rail would just pinch your cup and your balls against your leg, which could lead to some messy ball bursting.

cups are made more for stopping things like pucks, baseballs, and shit like that. not really direct blows. it could backfire real bad...

if you had a choice of straight drop to nutting a rail with or without cup, with cup would be the way to go. your gonna fuck up your groin area for a while but at least you have you baby makers, but id say for skiing your better off hoping to get off to the side. plus a lot of the times down rails  are right on the edge of nutting or being able to ski over, and in many cases you can at least somewhat lean to the side and hold urself up a bit with your arms, with a cup its almost certain impact
