Replying to over my head... chick problem

yeah, ok so ive been dating this chick for about oh 3 weeks now. and ah yeah i do like her and all, i have a good time with her and ive been friends with her for a while, but honestly for some reason im finding myself not terrible attracted to her for some reason(no shes not ugly). and i dont wanna let her down and im friends with alot of her friends too and she just came off a bad breakup and here friends all hate that guy now and i dont want to be the object of that much hate.. the relationship is kinda like being really tired in class and you want to sleep really bad but you keep trying to stay awake cause its the right thing to do. and i wasnt getting very much play living the single life so that makes it even harder to break it off. im in the deepend and i cant swim. give a guy some advice here ..
