Is this years Surface Watch Life softer than last years?

The 2008-2009 watch life is stiffer than last year's model. I've been riding mine since early November and they are absolutely phenomenal.

but they are still a good ski? im 5'11'' 145 and prbly gonna be gettin the 170's, i think ill be good.

Definitely go 180 if you're that tall.

I'm 5'8" and I ride 180s for park and all mountain, 190s for powder. I think you'll be fine. The 170s are just at the top of my forehead, you definitely want to go longer than that.

This years Live Life is slightly softer but still pretty stiff, with a tip rocker. Choice.

tails are rockered too, don't know if you meant that as well with the "tip rocker".

also the watch lifes are pretty soft, but i haven't skied on last years to compare. they're a great park ski either way, and definitely go with the 180.
