I got new skis this season but ive only gotten to go skiing once so far. Today, my friend set up some rails and invited me over. we were hittin the rails and i wrecked. i got up and tried to put the skis back on, and found out that the bindings were all fucked up. one of the back bindings was only attached by two screws and the other was coming out. i was pissed that my new skis were already wrecked, so i went home and looked at them with my dad. OK i really dont know anything about bindings and stuff so keep it calm. under the bindings, two of the screws were drilled right into the skis, the other two were drilled into plastic things in the skis, those plastic things are why the bindings came out. what i was wondering is, is this normal or can i blame the place that did the mounting?

Brought my brand new fisher addicts into a local very reputable shop to get mounted, told them 1cm back from center. when i got them back, something seemed wrong. I checked it out, and they were mounted about 1.5cm infront of center. I brought them back and they remounted em within 20 minutes. If i hadn't gone in there a week before to try to get a job (didnt get turned down, just went in late and they didnt have room but they would call when they needed me), i would have flipped a shit, told them off for drilling unneeded holes in my new skis and demanded for some compensation. i almost felt like i should have anyway, fuck the job, who wants to work for a shitty ski shop like that?

1.5 forward would be sick on any ski but a symmetrical ski. and why did you mount behind center? it seems extremely irrational to mount anything other than center on a symmetrical ski. its pretty much the point of a symmetrical ski

because im not a huge park rider, i do hit the park, but i like to mess around all mountain a lot more. i would have gone a lot farther back if it wasnt symetrical... but i figured 1cm would put me back a little bit, and not sacrifice the preformance of the symetrical
