Replying to Fuck lift tickets, walk up?

I live closest to the MD,PA area mountains and I want to ski really badly.I had the idea to walk up the mountain  instead of paying for alift ticket and just get to the terrain park where there is a j lift where they dont check for tickets. What would happen if they caught me doing this and how many other people would do this. I did it once before and didn't get caught but I'm not sure I can do this all the time. Is it true that the mountains are lease by the state and the skiresort only has the right to build on it? Lemme know thanks.
