Pow day!

im going up! so stoked ma, high five for us both having a super sick day.

jeah im skiin 2day also but no pow here, were lucky to get one storm a year maybe two, and its usually less than 10in. man made snow ftw, or ftl depends how you look at it

i was mad stoked on today, like foot of fresh pow, me and my bro got to the mtn early and got first run on what is probally the best woods trail ever, then we hiked the next one a little and got more freshies, (and got bucked into some trees an busted googles at the bottom on a root, but w/e)  i was soo stoked, only thing that coulda been better was if i was on skiis, stil dont have the cash to get boots and bindings. : (  Then we hit park and natural hits the rest of the day.  Soo Great.

yes. i am loving it. can barely make it up the hills here in duluth... always a good sign :)

i got my first face shots yesturday fun day at whiteface i didnt even ski park for one run i was having so much fun

oh man so this is how it ended up happening. saturday me and a couple friends went up for some pow. ended up meeting up with like 15 other people and we ducked a bunch of ropes for some sick pow, it was probably the best ive ever skiied at this mountain. after about 5 hours of just finding new trails to shred we headed over to the stuff they had set up for a park which was a 20ft box a cbox and a barrell jib and we seriously hiked it for 6 hours(not including food and bathroom breaks) it was the first day they had night skiing this year and it was so sick. then i went today with the same people but the mountain was practically empty because were getting a nor'easter right now and its just absolutely dumping and the roads suck. again we made freshies and were finding new natural hits that arnt usually there. after a couple hours we headed into the lodge which was completely empty besides a 1 family, some ski patrollers, and the few guys that would never miss out on these conditions. we ate cold pizza and chips for about an hour and headed up to hike the box that was surprisingly waxed and cleared off for another couple hours. then we hiked up past the park a little bit and found this big  mound off snow where the cats had left it. so we used our skis and boards as shovels and built a nice little kicker on it, then one of the guys who works in the park saw us building and brought up some flags to mark where it was so the gapers wouldnt kill themselves and he brought a rake and shovel to help us finish it. by then it was near the end of the day and we each got 2-3 hits off it. my friend learned 5's, the park guy threw a 9, and i busted out a massive 3 over it and over shot our landing by like ten feet and landed in a big pile of pow. after we went in, cooked some ramen and headed home where im now typing this still in all my gear. thanks for the vibes and i hope ur day was as sick as mine was. now im gonna go take some tylenol chug some benodril and go to bed
