Skiings biggest flaw: Pipe judging

simon's run was possibly the worst of the first few, yet still, #1 qualifier.  We've seen that run before, dawg.  maybe change it up a bit?  ok so you spun the other way...once...still the same run that you did in the last (2?) XGames.  why dont you go out and try to win a major big air with a switch misty 9 again....(jons sw misty 9's looked way better than yours does now way back when he was doing them in TBC)

Simons run was sooooo sick dont know what your on about. Went higher then everyone and the switch 10 was so dope and the only one landed clean and with decent height in the comp. Jossi's was sick but he had lost a lot of speed and did'nt land it that good. Dorreys and Adams runs were super sick too, but didn't quiet have the amplitude Dumonts did although Adams was boosting. I thought Tanner's defiantly did'nt desserve top 3.

if andreas actually worked at pipe he would slay so hard, last year he was at keystone lapping jumps and down rails every day, then still managed 4th in pipe at X-games

and dorey should be in 1st

I think that if you ain't grabbing you're spinning too fast. I didn't count but there must've been at least three ungrabbed spins in simons run! if he just slowed things down a bit and grabbed a hold of one or both of his skis his run would be SO much doper. Because the amplitud's sick, he just needs a bit more steeze.

If you read this simon.. Sart grabbing! (encouraging "you can do it" tone, not hating)

Are we seriously going to do the "Competitions are gay, and so is Simon/Tanner" threads again?  Is this the first of the 100's of bull shit threads about how stupid spinning more than a 360 is?  Can't wait until X-games so I can start to hate skiing too....

When are you guys going to realize that every tiny fucking piece of this sport is subjective, so it will NEVER be "fair".  Every one of those runs is sick and technical in some way, and I enjoyed watching them.  Screw you guys, I'm going skiing.

youre missing my point.  im not saying comps are gay, im saying that its stupid that simons amplitude always wins even though he does the same run over and over and over, and a 9 with a nice grab should beat a 10 with simons double elbow grab he does.

hah yah just about to say the same thing and judging compettions will never be perfect it is like this in every sport, no judges will ever make the "perfect descision" unless there is a clear winner.
