so i bought and mounted a pair of bluehouses and i was wondering if center mount would be a better choice over recomended. mine are alittle infront of recomended but not center mount. they are already mountedbut i just want to know if that was a bad idea.
youll be fine if youre forward from recommended, thats usually too far back, but the closer to center you get the more even the swing weight becomes and the better you will carry speed switch. dead center (say true center when talking to the tech) is ideal, but as long as your between true and recommended center (core center) youll be fine. i rode my buddies MRs at true center a few times over the summer, dope skis, enjoy them man.
I mounted my 179's 1 cm back from true center. I thought the recommended scale wasn't quite suitable for my riding and the 1 back from true was perfect for the type of riding I do. You should be just fine with the location of your mount.
