No, I don't think that it's normal. Seattle doesn't get much snow, so when it dumps, the whole city and surrounding suberbs freak out and buy all the gas and generators and stuff, and everything sells out.
I guess gas trucks haven't been able to get to the stations to fill them up. We have a really inefficient and ineffective emergency plan.
I started out in the Seattle area, went to college in MT at MSU, but dropped out halfway through my senior year cause I was broke and moved home-- got a job, been working ever since. I'm not sure, I think we're the same age.
