if there were just a fourm thread then the poems wouldn't take up the artice space. I go to the artices looking for informative pieces of writing, not someone's damn poem.

those poems are in non ski, and i thought they were pretty damn good, if you dont want to read the poems, then dont, skip over them... there is plenty of space for more articles, this way people will always be able to read the poetry rather than it dissappearing, appreciate other peoples art, how would you like it if i started bashing everything you did, and who the hell made you the fucking article police anyways

Haha no offense taken, man, I understand what you are saying. But to tell truth, I don't think there's really all that much informative information in the articles section; it's more of a place for people to post their thoughts and opinions, rather than rock-hard facts and news. Gives everyone to speak up in a way that will last longer than a thread does- gives them a chance to showcase. By the way, I'd encourage you to read some of the poetry; I mean, it really means a lot to me and I can find a lot of meaning in it. My own is sometimes shoddy, but when you get a book of Rimbaud or Shelley or Longfellow it can just blow you away- its really good shit. I'd recommend it man.

Yah dude. The poems are certainly articles, and have every right to be there. There are many articles which are BS that you don't even mention, but then u rat on honest work.

Well put Kami, articles are used for their long life, and obviously if we are posting something personal like that, we want people to read it.
And you're poems are awsome, even the shady ones. I perfer to read your poems than published poems written by an english major. It's a good sense of how some of my peers feel and think.

Dude, I think Phrosty has a good idea, we should have a poem thred or something. I mean the poems are great, shouldnt they be in their own catagory, it would encourage others to use it too!

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get that out of the way, then go live in an old folks home, then you should get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then on your first day at work you should get a gold watch. You work 40 years until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement, you go drinking and partying, then get ready for high school. You go to elementary school, become a kid, you play, you have no responsiblities, you become a little baby, you go back and spend your last 9 months floating around in a spa and then you finish up as an orgasm!
