I'm just wondering what tricks you guys grew up on, what you learned first, and what you are trying to learn now.

I fist learned 1s and 3s with all my first year. I threw in grabs with spins and i focused on switch 1s and 3s. Now im really focusing on style and landing 5s and switch 5s. I haven't really gotten into inverts yet but who knows.

i started with spread eagles...then boot slaps...then iron cross...then japan grab...the 360...then 360 saftey...swich 180...swich 360....450....cork 3 opposite mute....swich 4...and thats everything

o yea rails spinning on and off all last year and trying switch on and off. yea I think im gonna also focus on corks.

Saying that this is like my first year im gonna do freestyle, ive only done a 1. Yes, i know its sad, but i tried one last year on crappy rentals. I'm soo excited to actually start skiing doing freestyle.

i do twisters or tailgrabs everytime i speed check
the first tricks i learned were 1's, spreads,3's,daffys,twisters,switch 1's,
now all i do are switch 1's 3's unatural 180 tails,and 360 safetys i am too much of a pussy to hit anything bigger then 40 feet switch though.

i learned 360s off a 20 footer like the first month of freestyle skiing, then iron crosses, then 360 iron cross, safetys, small ass rails, and small ass 540s

I was busting daffys back in the day... then I learned 360s and backflips before everyone started landing fakie. Then I got twins, learned rails, 5s, and 7s. This season I'm going to concentrate on getting good at switch spins.

alot of this year I think I'm going to concentrate on skiing away from the park. I don't feel as in control as I want to be when I ski powder/moguls/ice etc... But I started out spread eagles, then to tail grabs. I tried 180's/360s two years ago and I sucked at it. I couldn't ski at all. I couldn't stick a 360 off a 15 footer, but for some reason I was trying to throw lincolns off 40/60 foot tables. Last year, spins just clicked. I think my favorite trick is a big slow 180 safety tweaked out to the side. I learned rodeos, good 7's, 9s, cork 3's and all that. Hope to step it up this year.

my first tricks were the daffys, spreads, twisters, 3's, 7's, and screamin seamens, since i was into moguls. then came along the first salomon 1080's and i started my new school riding from there.

Back in the day b4 twins it was: daffys, spreads, twistas, 360s and hardcore chutes and cornices. then with twins too many to put.

Are some skiers trying to copy snowboarding?

Tanner: There\'s a small group of people that are doing that, but I think for the most part, there are a bunch of Rollerbladers and skiboarders that are being gay.

5-8 years old: daffys, crosses, twisters, spreads....
9 years old: 360s, mutegrab, safety, rocketairs, japan airs...
10 years old: 360 bootslap, 180 doubletwisters, doubledaffys...

way back in the day it was all about daffys, twisters, cherry pickers, and the helicopter. how many of you guys did them when they were still called that? now for me its all about style my knees cant handle goin to big anymore so its all about makin the 3s and 5s look good, if i find a nice booter this year i will go for a 7.
