tru dat... our labs at uc have mac's and they are outright horrendous, who invented these pathetic machines... ol' mac donald?

i belive your thinking of windows. the macs ive experience have been quite a bit more reliable than windows.

idk, i see a lot of 'unexpectedly quit'ing on osx g4s in multimedia. tried 8 times to export my 3 minute music video and it never got exported. i lose a lot of work in that class, even if i restart it before startn class. mabe its just me. but that soundtrack program is damn fun.

my PC has never crashed. I kinda like macs though. I havent really used them very much though.

just telln what i see, 2000 has only crashed once on me because i was rendering somthn in 3dsmax, running aol, premier, and capturing video on an analog card with pinnacle. could be that the macs at school are used 4-5 hours a day. i definately think theyve improved over time though, especially the past year since osx came out.

I love my mac... It's never crashed....I have an iBook I use to link to my digital 8-track... super strong platform....does what I need it to. Look around the industry....
