180, and my tail from the back of the binding is 50 cm or some thing and the front of the binding to the tip is 60 cm or something like that, 10 cm difference

Mount them where they should be mounted, plus keep in mind that the center between the tip and the tail, does not mean that is the center... You have to take the running surface...

put them where they are supposed to be. if you move them more centered it will be weird when turning....they will spin just fine they way they are intended.

why?? cant someone keep a pair he likes, or buy a fresh pair of an older ski because he liked it?? why waste the cash if you dont need to buy new stuff??

did it ever occur to you that the thovex change might have something to do with sponsorship money from Salomon??? I have seen him pull huge ass trixs with the candides (d-spin 720 over 120' gap)....so that is good enough for me. What a paid pro rides has very little to do with how a ski will perform.

These guys aren't buying the ski for the name on it. Think about it. If there was a ski called the Michael Jackson Pro Model and it was one of the best skis on the market you sure as hell would pick it up. The name of a ski doesn't fuckin' matter.

kjfreerider, what the fuck?
one, candide, as someone else said, probably switched cuz salomon can pay so much,
two, believe it or not, the candides still work fine if they are *gasp* TWO YEARS OLD!
some of us can;'t afford to buy every new trendy ski that comes out

agreed, and the Candides are, in my opinion, one of the best looking skis out there.
I haven't changed my signature in quite some time, so I will change it. Here it is.
