Cheep acessories for HV30 karma++

So i bought an HV30 online, its on its way, and i also got a $50 amazon gift card. I decided i want to use it for something for my camera, like a mic, dolly or something like that. any suggestions? il buy something more than $50 but not a lot more. Thanks

in terms of practicality, a wide-angle lens is pretty useful but for $50, i dunno. depends on what youre using it for, but as far as snowsports go i dont think a mic would be very useful.

i bought the camera in a package that includes a wide angle and telephoto, but thanks anyway

also, i use it for more than just skiing and i hate the sound of the motor that all cameras have.

i would buy a dolly. or some extra batteries. i have a hv20 and the stock battery doesnt hold to great of a charge in the cold

since you are recording skiing, i don't really see why you need a mic, unless you plan on doing something else that you need great sound for

That is just a fucking thing with rollers on it, just make a real dolly it costs like 10 bucks. Buy batterys and tapes, period.

That lens looks like a big piece of shit, please don't spend 30 dollars on glass. My glass was 380 for my hvx and that was like the lowest quality i wanted to go.

haha don't waste your money on a shitty wide angle..

i just bought a HV30 two weeks ago.. and since then i got 2 extra batteries, battery charger, more tapes, a baby death fisheye, and a handle.

get tapes and extra batteries, or if you haven't gotten one yet then get a battery charger. then save up for a baby death or if you're really baller then get this..

i would also say make yourself a dolly with wood, pvc, and skateboard wheels/bearings.. a lot better then dropping 50 bucks to have wheels under your tripod.
