wear them for a few weeks first to break them in. Then if you're still having problems, go to a boot fitter
oh well the spk pros are completely different then the other two, theyr a great boot, just sayin tho FT greatest boot no shinbang i promise you.
You can prevent shin bang by doing up your boot and power strap and snug as possible.
If you're getting shin bang you're not doing them up enough or you're boots are too big.
If you're feet are sore you should consider an othodic insole to support your arch.
Another way of breaking in your kaos is have them heat molded...the liners are custom fit.
Surprised no one has mentioned trying a FOOTBED.... Footbeds are awesome and can work wonders w/ boot issues.
