Salomon czar

Not much of a twin, more of a directional ski.  The rocker is only in the tip.  Pretty badass ski for going forwards.  Too bad 182 is the longest they come - cause a 187 or so would be sweet.

Its a backcountry jib ski with a rockered shape... of course its a twin...

One of the advantages to Salomon's rocker is that it's pre-shaped in the mold rather then bent - rockered out of the mold.

Which means it will keep it's rocker better then others. Salomon has patented this so others must bend their skis which means there's a bigger chance at loosing uniformity btw both skis.

line has been rockering in the mold for as long as they have made rockered skis, same with k2 this year, and armada, and on3p, and im guessing moment

They take some getting used to on groomers with the big turn radius and so much of the ski touching the ground being behind your feet. They are big and floaty in pow and maybe better than Hellbents in crud.

next year they will come in 190!

You are indeed correct sir. Moment does infact rocker their skis in the mold... Salomon said they were the only one doing it in mold as a marketing thing to make them seem better... but its just not true. As i am sure that many people on NS can tell you... rockering your skis after they have been pressed rarely if ever turns out well... the whole purpose behind pressing skis the way they are is so that ski stays together and stays in the shape that it was molded.
