Help with movie maker! - not what you think

k so, im not asking how to use movie maker or lame stuff like that
im on a mac, and my buddy has a PC right
we filmed a bunch of stuff last weekend on his camera, he uploaded with movie maker i guess
now i want to find a way for him to send me the stuff, problem is he doesnt know how to do it and i have no clue, ive searched a shitload but found nothing. so basically we just need a way to export the clips or something and then he can just rapidshare me a folder of them

the files are still on your hard drive somewhere, you just need to find them. if you cant find them but you have them in movie maker, just drag them to the timeline and export

find where the footage captured to, take the files, burn them to a data DVD.

yea if u wanted to send clip by clip not just random peices of the footy you gotta individual cut each clip and save movie file as. its a bitch.

ya well im fine with like just having the raw footy from the day

basically i need to find a way to get footage from his tape to me

also i didnt mention it before but he is right now on a ski trip so hes really far away so he can't just like drop it off or something

any help is super cool

if the footage is already on his compy, drag all of it to the timeline. Remove anything you dont need. Export it by file/save movie file. As for a way to get it to you, id have him upload it to vimeo and  you can download it. mkay?

yep.... that should work or even (depending on how much you have) email or burn a copy of the files
