Replying to Which bindings for Fat-ypus: D-sender?

Need some help, I need some bindings for the D-senders, which I choose, reading this thread: https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/401713/

I plan to do some hiking once, but only a couple of times, and I don't use them for park that much.. So, would you say touring bindings, or some regular freeride PX bindings?

I've heard that touring bindings are crap and often breaks, if you ski regularly freeride in forrests and so.. Plus they are heavy like shit.. Is this right??
