Will they listen to me?

do riders who arent pro get any input into the setup of a park anywhere?  do you think that if my very small home mountain were to get suggestions they would pay any attention?

they will listen. my mountain listens to us when we tell them what they should do to make it better/our ideas

Oh yeah...remember, you are the customer....Unless you are at a large corporate mountain where stuff has to be approved for insurance reasons...

depends on how you present your idea.
and how safe it is.
just think about it before you go shouting YOUR ideas about THEIR park.

if its a smaller mountain, or even a bigger one i guess, get to know the park director or some diggers. then flow them some ideas. if they like you. it'll probley influence what they do.

if your mountain is REALLY small you might get a deal like we did last year...the park manager let me and a couple of my friends in a couple hours before the lifts opened one morning and we all basically designed the park with the rest of the crew and got to put everything where we wanted...it was hard work but we had our own custom park for like 3 weeks after until they changed it up again

they should listen to you. at my hill they need the help but they are stubborn so some of us will go up and try to do what we can but we havnt gotten to the level of input for features. its sad really.

i basically sent the park manager at my mountain an email about the pros and cons of old parks and what i wanted to see this year and he really did a good job! Good luck and be polite to them, remember they dont have to listen to you.

as someone who works in teh park but is not in charge I know that I defiantly listen to ideas, and if they are good I try to ask my boss about them. But at the same time everybody likes different stuff and has different ideas. In the end someone has to decide what happens. My boss will usually listen to what we say and if he likes it, and its doable and safe we do it. If your mountain is smart the person in charge of parks should have the best idea of what to do anyways but at the same time as a good manager he needs to listen to other people and most importantly the customer. Sometimes it happens but really the park is for the customer not the park crew.

just keep sure that all the park skiers & boarders in the resort are behind you, so youre the voice of a possibly large group of customers that could even grow if they follow a few tips

here it works out fine. the park manager comes up to us, asks how the new features are, we say this and that, and most time he will change it.

i've heard even some super dumb ideas turn into awesome stuff. Kinda like tha Penis rail in my pictures. Rediculous idea that turned out awesome.

our hill is pretty good about listening to the riders. There is a few ppl who think they know everything but the guys who matter and have the final say in things usually are very good about listening to what we want.
