i exaggerated a little to point out that we drove these "pinzgauers" with standard wintertyres. but AWD, a few differentials and so on brought us anywhere where a standard car with the best tyres in the world cant even dream about....
of course you need winter tyres when your living in a place that means you have to drive certain slopes/hills all the time, but the car itself needs a little power too.
mate i never said drive. the key word right at the start was 'take'.
