doughnuts won't help your case, but if you were quick on your feet you could have told them you were just getting a feel for winter driving so when shit went wrong on the real road you'd have a better idea how your car works.

b. reckless driving is reckless driving -- just because it's 3 am and no one is around doesn't mean the cop won't pull you over if you drive through a red light. The laws of the road are laws 24/7, you just have to know i. when it's good to fuck around/when it's bad ii. how to spot cops -- have a competent co-pilot or know what to look for iii. accept it when karma comes around, bites you in the ass, and you get busted for shit that's bs ie. playing around in parking lots, blowing red lights at 3 am.

happened to me once, i was being dumb and started doing that shit at my university visitor parkin area and the campus police wrote me a huge ticket for wreckless endangerment. and it gets better, i didn't have a prof of insurance on me...i left it at my dorm.

Regardless, it is pretty much the same thing. You were driving a car how it is not supposed to be, so sack up, pay the fine, and move on.

2. i never said you were driving at 3am -- if it's 3am and the road is empty a cop is still going to pull you over for blowing a red light. if a parking lot is empty and its a snow storm, the cop is still going to give you a ticket for being retarded

too much hate? I remember being young and stupid on the roads, but it's dangerous and you feel invincible so someone's gotta smack you down a bit.  If you want to play around in parking lots, you've got to have a good plan.

A. have a destination in mind -- ie. go to the local 7-11 and swing through the abandoned parking lots en route. do your merit badge driving, take a lap or two of the parking lot, then roll out.  Staying in one spot is just asking for trouble.

B. remember that the snow talks -- if you're doing doughnuts, even if the cop doesn't see you do it he'll see the tire tracks. It's smarter to just play around with power slides, and what not anyways, you actually have the excuse you're trying to be a better driver  & know how your car handles. If you've got to spin around do it as you're leaving

C. You're playing a game, if you get caught you gotta deal with it.
