Alright, so I hit a tree with my shin at Keystone two weeks ago after a "pow" (heavy sarcasm) day (Also, don't ask how I hit the tree). I skied perfectly fine for the rest of the day, but it was really swollen. So later that night I ice like there is no tomorrow, and I've been icing is every so often. Like a week ago I lost feeling where I hit the tree, and it is kind of sore. It's not bruised now though. Last night I got new boots, and I wore them all day today while I was teaching. My shin swelled back up, and I really have no feeling there at all yet I skied perfectly fine tonight.
So...
Really swollen.
Kinda sore.
Not bruised anymore.
No feeling where I hit the tree.
Should I just keep icing?
