Im pretty sure everyone has that mountain that reminds them every time why they really ski. Today i was brought back to that joy when i was skiing Jay Peak. Easily the best mountain for non-park riding on the east coast, it provides it all. It is rare to go there and not find powder on the ground, not to mention the glades after it snows are amazing.

So what mountain brings back the excitement of your passion?

when i'm in aus i only ski at mt buller, but when the sun comes out and theres people in the park, i jsut never want too get off the mountain.

also when your in the trees and it is snowing heavily, but your sheltered so you can see well and no wind. just awesome.

exactly what happened to me today, huuge storm i was by myself but had my ipod just knowing im able to ski (no injurys) and being lucky enough to be there at that moment really made me realize how much i love skiing and how absolutely nothing can replace that feeling.

i think the other thing that reminds me of how much i love skiing is dragging my hands through the powder as i make turns..just feeling the snow move behind me as i go
