Ski alone or with a group.?

I think when i ride Park or Pipe, i love riding alone, bc i can crank my ipod, and not have any distractions.
But if park sux or lots of powder, then i love riding with a group.

it doesnt really matter for me. riding with groups is fun because then you have a little bit more of a "push." but riding alone is fun too. like you said crank your ipod, and throw down.

i like riding with other ppl so much better. like 2-4 ppl is awsome. i like it jsut bcuz if they do somethign u can try to do better and it jsut pushes you more to try new stuff

I like riding in a group more. It's just more fun, plus you have people to talk to on the lift.

ya man anythin from 2-4 people like you guys said. backcountry is no fun without some buddies to talk to. park i can handle but still like to ski with other guys

Sometimes I like MASSIVE groups but sometimes I like skiing all alone all day long, hot lapping with epic music. Sometimes I like just inbetween.

i dunno i always find that i dont get anything done if im with people yknow spend way too long inside at lunch and stuff and i would feel like a jerk if i was like k ive had enough lets go back outside my friends have never been too serious about it tho so i guess thats why i tend to ski alone, and alot of the time you can talk to some rele interesting people on the lift, i talked to a couple from poland the other day, basically told me their life story, it was pretty neat

For me it doesn't matter.  Sometimes I like to ride alone with the iPod cranked right up and other with friends - 2-4 I find is best.  Generally push myself more with friends than if I am by myself although it depends how a feel.

i like skiing with enough people to fill a chairlift, but not more. once it gets that big, the group is too big and takes too long to wait around

Groups are fun, but I need my alone time every once in a while. If someone can't keep up on a pow day, then they don't ski with the group. Simple as that.

i like skiing park with a group, that way i almost always have someone to work on tricks with or ride up the lift with even if you're hitting different things. for skiing trails and stuff i like skiing alone fine because i can go as fast as i want on whatever trail i want...you don't have to make a group decision as to what trail to take or worry about losing someone

i like to ski with my little brother (snowboarder)  cause on the hill, we seem to get along better then almost anywhere else.
he is really good, has balls the size of jupiter, and progresses so fast, it's crazy
it's really pushes me.
but the steeper/tree runs i like to be by myself.

i perfer to ski with a group cause if someone bails harsh u can all take a laugh at him and just have a good time screwing around making snowballs and having snowball fights while skiing down also u can train shit so u all say at the end of the day "man that shit was epic"

I always like skiing with a crew, preferably people that are better than me. That's what I do now, and I constantly get pushed to try new stuff. Skiing along is fun sometimes but I always would take rollin with a crew over anything else. Giving/getting props for landing tricks really adds to my skiing as well.

its always good to ski with a group cause i find its easier to progress when everyone is pushing eachother. though when ur friends have skied like twice its pretty dodgy.

My groups tend to be more then 4 people but I don't wait for them. I go up the lift with my friends and that is who I pretty much ski down with. I don't wait cuz it just sucks

so true. i get so much better when i ski in a group. the only time i like to ski alone is when im doing crazy amounts of laps in the park and theyre playing music. other than that, i like to have a shred-buddy.

lapping park is best when it's kinda like there are so many people you're skiing with everybody, but other wise like 3-5 is pretty much prime

unfortunatly i usually ski alone ( 90%  of the time) because not alor of my freinds ski or board and if they do they dont like doing park as much as i do. When i do go with a freind im usually teaching them in the park so there's no one really to puch me.

I wish i had a crew to ski with. I think ima try to get to know some locals at my hill.

Yeah dude same here. When I can I try and ski with a group they usually A) aren't as good as me or B)don't want to hit the park as much

with a group is the way to go. Preferably skiers better than you, you get pushed to throw down and the inspiration you get from other skiers totally makes you better

deff a group like 3-5 people tops and with people who are a little better or around the same level is perfect. also i find that if i ski alone for a while i end up meeting some people and ski with them for a bit so i never really ski alone u could say

I like goin to the hill alone then meeting up with the people you see, that way you can ditch them when you wanna ski somewhere else and theres no commitment... that sounded lame

I like a small group for just lapping, crank the i pod, no one talks til the chairlift. But if its a big groups its fun when everyone is throwing down.

i like having your whole group spread out throughout the park, that way you can still hang and talk with every1, but its also about doing your own thing.

hot lapping with a small group is the best, you can bump tunes and do some mini trains or some follow the leader and then chat it up on the lift
