Alright so I figure someone here will know the answer.
I have a jeep patriot and the rails are far back, I have a snowcat rack for reference.
I have a pair of twins and some Volant supers (really bendy metal ski) If i have the tips of the Volants facing the back, I can't open my back. B/c they are mounted far back. Is it bad if I have the tips facing forward with the wind speed of the car? I know people do it with twins, these are just really flexy skis and I am afraid they are going to keep flappn' up there.
