I recommend:
wide angle: sigma 17-35mm DG HSM(newer version with 77mm thread) amazing lense surpised me with quality and speed when i got it def worth buying, you get more than your moneys worth. I def with no doubt thought it was better than the expensive nikon 14-24mm and if you want any pictures to see quality and sharpness just ask.
prime lense: nikon 50mm f1.8 sharpest lense i have ever used amazing quality and one of nikons top ten lenses. prime but amazing quality. good low light.

all canon, dont use nikon zooms, but i would asume that the quality is the same for the equevent lenses

24-70 2.8 if you have the money. BUY IT!
all nikons 2.8 lenses are bangin. but sooooo over priced.
Is constant 2.8 worth your $2000?

IDK if anyone looks at this cult often but how much would you pay for a Nikon 50mm f1.8 and a 77-300mm f/4-5.6G lens? Used and new? I am looking at some on ebay and looking for new ones. Also, are there any good sites to buy new or used camera equipment besides ebay, amazon, newegg, CL?

for the nikon 50mm 1.8 new it will be about $120 ( thats how much i payed for mine)
70-300mm could prob get for like around $500 (used on ebay but in new condition), but i would go for an 80-200 f2.8 For $600 cause its an amazing lense.

Thanks! I snagged a 50mm 1.8 for $75 new and Im going to go to a camera shop to play with the 80-200 f2.8 before I drop that much money.

yeah good choice 50mm is the sharpest lens to date, 80-200 is a very good lense and yeah def try it out, good idea
