P18's still work?

I search barred and there are way too many threads on p18s but either way does anyone know if this is sketchy? my p18s have their little white tabs taht measure the forward pressure push up underneath the heel piece so 1 i can't tell what my forward pressure should be and 2, it slightly lifts the heel piece and maybe messes with how they're supposed to work. anyone know what I'm talking about?

mine did that a couple times. for me i just turned the heal peace around and the white tab popped back out.

yeah just turn your heel piece 90 degrees then turn it back, just put a little down pressure on it so the white tab doesn't go back underneath it
