UVM Acceptance?

So two of my friends have got in so far and did early action. I haven't heard back and i called to ask and see when they sent out the letters and they said that they get sent out Dec 17th. Its killing me not knowing and idk why some people have found out. Has anyone heard yes or no from them?

yah its kinda scary...i applied early action and i haven't recieved it yet...not to worry though cause it IS really supposed to start on the 17th...i think the ppl who got them before are like ones they didnt want to lose or something...i dont fuckin know

Nah. I looked at the status of my application and they say that they have completed reviewing it and I will find out next wednesday of I got in.

Nice. i applied regular decision to UVM (EA to UNH). i havent heard back from either but i hope to soon. even tho i applied regular to UVM i still sent in my shit pretty quick so i should hear from them soon. good luck to all.

When I applied two years ago, it was the last letter I got... they took forever to mail it out. You can look online I think, though.

yea im in the same situation, i got all my applications out and now im waiting to here back from all my schools. I really hope that i get into UVM cause its one of my top choices

if anyone who's dead set on getting into UVM doesn't the first time around, go to CCV or Champlain for a semester (get really good grades because both schools are ridiculously easy) and transfer to UVM. my girlfriend did it no problem, and you get the perk of not having to live in the dorms for 2 years at UVM if you transfer

Really good advice. Take some requirement courses at CCV and then transfer to UVM. You'll save money and having to live in dorms.

^ thanks, you also made a good point about the $$, i took a summer course at CCV a couple years ago and it was around $300 a credit (out of state) compared to $1000 at UVM, plus a lot of the teachers you find at CCV and Champlain also teach at UVM (they just don't have tenure yet)

dont sweat it if you can't get into uvm right away. i just graduated in may, and i think the school is going to be a lot different for the next few years. what they won't tell you on the tours or in the brochures is that uvm is $40 million in the hole because they had some jerkoff finance director pissing money away for god knows how long. as a result, a lot of incoming freshman are going to be thrown into triples (dorms were already overcrowded 3 years ago, but theyre going to try to bring on even more students to pay for their debt). i would bet my left nut that tuition for out of state students is pushing $40k a year by the time you're done (if it isn't already).

i really dont think UVM avg. SAT is 1700..their low Score range is around that but the higher range is 1900 for the avg
