Best ski movie 08/09

i searchbarred and was surprised nothing came up for this year, besides when omnly trailers were out...

basically my parents said they will only buy me a ski movie for christmas, so idk which to pick. i loved 7 sunny days and enjoy last year, yeah dude is not very exciting at all to me, and idea was alrighttt. LSS and SH6 are the 2 ive seen of level 1 and i dontt really like either. i have a feeling PBP and level made a comback with reasons and turbo though. SUGGEST ME A MOVIE!!!

oh and i like urban but not too much, park, bc, but cant stand watching big mountain

REASONS!  i was so happy that some one finally made a movie i can relate to. im kinda sick of that "hollywood star" shit.

personally i hated slamina, boring music and just almost the same locations and urban spots. but t-wall and little G's parts was cool.

Turbo was insane, sick shoots and epic locations (like reasons).  good and wariated music thoo.

but reasons have that litle extra to give you. i felt me like i was equal with the riders, this movie made me see that we are all different people with the same thing to do: to shred and have a lot of fun!!!!
and my "stokedMeter" exploded allredy in the first part.   but thats my opinion...

but you can download these movies first and decide witch one you want to buy after you have watch them...

If you haven't seen it, 44 Days is for you. It's basically the new TBC. Honestly though, how many of you have seen Get Lucky? It has the most epic park shots of the year aside from Turbo, great urban, and hands down the best BC I've ever seen, and I usually hate watching BC... but it's so fucking epic. And the videography is on its own level, it makes the film so much more entertaining than anything else out there. Unreal shots that make every trick worthy of an orgasm. Think about PK in King of Style, and then picture a whole movie about it.

Oh my god that front flip nose grab where the camera guy hits the jump first and switch was one of the best shots I've ever seen.  That was my favorite segment too.

Reasons and Claim were both sick although they share quite a bit of content, and even use alot of the same shots in their Dumont segments.  Claim has ZERO Urban, not a single shot I'm pretty sure.  Claim also has a really dope soundtrack though.

Turbo has really sick park segments but the part they do in AK was kind of lame I thought and the pow segments weren't as good as Reasons or Claim.

I really want to get the Massive but shits expensive, the Utah wall jib blog video was ridiculous.

CLAIM...bar none, best action, funnest skiing, great film.  Plus, WAY longer than the others.

Reasons is #2, but barely...great flick, lots of different stuff.

Turbo is #3, if you want rails and crap like that.  Good film though.

so i got turbo, and watched it tonight. SICKEST MOVIE IVE EVER SEEN. i cantbelive the progression made in thismovie, i honestly dont know how they can possibly top it nextyear

The problem with reasons is that between 44 days, hunting yeti, salomon freeskitv eps, and other shit, I had already seen around 1/3 of the movie by the time I first saw it~

Haha... no urban. Decent soundtrack. Colby West deserves a tip of the hat for one of my favorite segments ever though, that shit was hysterical. And that Flying Squirrel fall was gnarly as fuck, can't believe he landed it... I liked the Get Lucky BC more though, and there was more variety.

Yeah that flying squirrel shit was gnarley.  When he was on one ski he reminded me of those oldschool ski ballet guys you see on the mountain occasionally.

I'm gunna say I was a bit disappointed with Reasons. I guess I was expecting too much, but it turned out I've already seen 1/3 of the shots from NS alone. Still a solid movie, but I was a tad bit disappointed.

I did really like Turbo, RealTime and That's It, That's All (it's a snowboard movie, but absolutely insane) Slamina is on it's way and I'm keen for that.

For free movies, 44 Days and Pony Tale (also a snowboard movie, but I loved the fun attitude)
