Really tho. You can get a gold pass for 430.
I one day pass is 43.

So basically you only have to go like 10 times.

If you get it tomorrow and go the next 10 days after that, then your ahead.
Mind you in 10 days no other resort close will be 100% open. Or have the kind of park setup that PN has this early in the season. Well all season really.

It really isnt that much if you think about it.
Just get one, you wont regret it.

University of Kentucky Ski club is going to Big Sky Montana for 450$ for a week...
we already did Telluride...and its amazing =)

but Perfect has to have a club price...
Madriver is 250$ for a club pass.

you can get a discount  group rate...all i need is 14 more people for everyone to get in for 32 every time...

No to hate, I love the paoli crew. But you payed 200 dalla.
I think its one of those things where, you get what you pay for.

PNorth is 100% open I believe. That and, we have a 45 foot booter.
Paoli is not even open yet. Just sayin

buy a pass if you plan on coming more than10 times, and buy it early.. like in march of this year and its like 40% off for the following year

If you would get your shit together you could purchase a full Perfect Season Pass for only $338 at the early season price, or you could still join a club and get one now for $468. A single day Lift Ticket at your "beloved" Telluride, is $92/day... have fun with all that. They may have 4,000+ vertical drop and 309" of annual snowfall, but they don't have to do anything to get that... nature does it all. HOWEVER here in Indiana we have to make 100% of our snow, all of it, and that takes an enormous amount of effort, including staff, electricity, snowcats, and fuel, None of which are free. Do you see any other area in lower Indiana with ANY snow? Paoli and that is just recently and barely, but no where else has any snow, and yet we have a 40' booter and 11 rails out already. Its pretty obvious that you are just a weekend warrior skier at best, who only takes one big trip out west a year and doesn't ride any other time, otherwise i think you would bitch much less, and do whatever it takes to ski.

And as a simple price comparison...

Cascade Mountain, WI - $44/8 hrs.
Boyne Mountain, MI - $49/7.5 hrs. not open after 4:30
Paoli Peaks, IN - $40/8 hrs.
Boston Mills/Brandywine, OH - $40/12 hrs.
Killington, VT - $79
Mount Snow, VT - $72
Mount Bohemia, MI - $45
Nubs Nob, MI - $55 weekend day

So as you can see Perfect North Slopes is comparatively priced especially in our region. Everyone bitches about the food prices as well and obviously they haven't been to any other resort and tried to eat, because Perfects is very competitive in that regard as well.

If you didn't come off as such an ass, anyone of the 15 guys who check out this page who work at Perfects, and have a deep loyalty and respect for it, probably could have hooked you up with one of their guest tickets, but at this point i think that is probably out.

Have fun not skiing, until your 24 hour bus ride to Telluride.

I literally just laughed out loud....that 24 hour bus ride is a BITCH!!

Since I moved to KY ive always drove up to Mad River, but im def. making the move this season to Perfect.... It seems like everyone there has so much pride for their mtn.... and i think thats great! It pisses me the fuck off when people talk shit about midwest skiing... if you love the sport, you will want to ride where ever you can... not just going out west a couple times a season. 

Im really excited to hit it up! Ill let you all know what i thought =)

Thanks for your opinion Ted....

I have skied, i skied before thanksgiving, at a legit resort, Bittersweet best in the midwest close to my home and they dont expect your first born to ski for a day....havent skied since too much school work, and such.

I wouldn't compare anything to out west.

Prices are prices and all i can do is bitch about em' and get people worked up?, ill make it there sometime after break, see if the hype lives up to the ticket prices....haha

I think i might donate some Plasma this week...see you next weekend!

(and in no way am i hating on "your" resort either)

Ok first off, its Tad not Ted.

2nd i dont believe he was conparaing to out west. Instead I think Tad was saying that out west, they do not have to make snow, where here in Indiana we do.

Although you are very right when you say the skiing can not conpare here to out west. Such as vertical feet and amount of snow, and size. But one thing I can garentee is that the vibe you experiance at PNorth is better than 95% of the resorts out west.

I am pretty confident that you will enjoy your time at PNorth, unless you go in with a negative attitude and dont give it a chance. That or if you have a problem with everybody else killing it, in particular when 14 and 15 year olds are better than you will ever be.

You may not be a weekend warrior, that is just how you come across in your posts. Skiing is not a cheap sport, and though it sucks it is what it is. I've been to Bittersweet, and they do have cheap lift tickets, and a High Speed Quad, but its about 100 vertical shorter, and isn't quite as big, and its a bit more mellow, than Perfects. I didn't mean to come off overly harsh but we're all pretty Proud of what we have, and tend to defend it.

Right on, no worries...

It more or less comes down to being a full time student with no moneyand little spare time, as many well know...  I too work/worked for a local resort, more or less hole in the wall, Pines Peak baby...we polished the hell out of that turd and rode everyday!  If its not one thing its something else, if i was down there skiing id be bitching about my skis or something

I will make it there some day soon, mid jan?  Im sure it will be worth every penny to ride, a place thats raked often is hard to find around here...

I look forward to meeting all of you, which im sure i will, its just my first year in this area, so im full of speculation, questions and bullshit...haha
