i have a Kata, its a pretty good bag for larger cameras or if you just want a lot of space. its nice cause it has a tripod carrier and is waterproof/shockproof. only downside is it cant carry skis for hiking.
I also have a Pelican hard case for my camera that i put in my Heli-pro for hiking. its a tight fit but it works well for when you need to hike. Pelicans are awesome. they are basically indestructible and protect the camera better than any other case on the market. the government and military both use Pelican cases for carrying their shit. Im planing to upgrade backpacks to a Dakine Poacher so i can have more room when im using the case & backpack combo.
My cousin and his buddy who are both pro videographers (their company is SweetGrass Productions, check out the film Hand Cut and their website
http://www.sweetgrass-productions.com) use fstop bags and they like them.
