so i just wrecked my pocket rockets and i'm looking for a new pow ski. I want something that is fairly wide, between 105 and 120 in the waist, but still has a lot of side-cut. so far i'm lookin at the volkl katana and k2 seth vicious. Anyone have any ideas?

It depends in what you're lookin to do with them. I have a pair of each and they are both amazing skis. if you're looking to charge and stomp go with the katanas cuz they are super fast, smooth, and responsive. if you're more into tricks and some park along with riding pow get the seths.

i would highly recommend the katana, if your looking for a stiffer ski, look at the scott p4

thanks for the info, it looks like i'm leaning towards the volkls but i'm still undecided. I like to make a lot of turns in fresh but i also don't want anything flopping around in the crud either. as far as tricks go, i suck, so i'm not too worried trick skis. plus i already have some k2 silencers for those spring days in the park.
