Help with Shirts

I have a bunch of designs i want to be finished and put on a t-shirt, but the designs ive made and tried to photoshop dont come out looking too professional or clean, and i dont want the designs just slapped on there with a print because i want them to fade out and wrap around the shirt and everything. Does anyone have some good tips or places i could go to make a finished design and put it on a shirt?

how high are you setting your resolution when you're doing these designs? getting up in the 300 dpi range is probably a good idea for clarity. and you should just peep the yellowpages and find your local print shop and go down and ask for their advice, they should be pretty knowledgeable

When designing for shirts I try to use mostly vector based graphics so they can be scales to any size, vector files also make color seperation for screen printing. As far as fades are concerned that's an issue of price and making sure you have your files formatted correctly for the printer.  For helpful t shirt advice i like emptees.com
