"WTF is a .wab file and how do I open it/use it?
I have about 500 contacts in this file that was sent from a friend of mine, and I'm supposed to send out a sample sale flyer to them but I don't even know how to work the thing.

I was somehow able to add the contacts in the wab file to my general contacts but I need to send it to those 500 specific people not all the 1000 people in my contacts!"

thats the email I got from my friend's dad, but I'm a mac user so I've done some research on the web but I can't really find anything useful.

Anyone?

It's basically Outlook Express " Address book file containing contact information used by Microsoft Outlook Express email program"

yea we figured it out that far but we still can't figure out how to send an email only people in that "wab" file

Gah, well that's a bit of a pickle my friend. My vote is, create a new email and just have those contacts on it. Other than that, you might be able to just add the contacts as a grouped set of ppl, but on how to do that i have no idea man, good luck though sry i wasn't much help

Is this that shitty new outlook express? I dont use any of that garbage but if I remember right there should be some 3rd party programs to help you deal with their stupid new fucking file. If you look around you should be able to find something. I dont know what was wrong with good old csv lol. Anyways as the above poster suggested importing it into a new account isnt a bad idea. Quick easy effective~
