I have some skis that need some epoxy work done and was looking into doing it myself. There are alot of different type of epoxies out there and I was just wondering which was the best. Thanks
if its a delamination problem, my personal favorite is hardman extra fast setting epoxy. it holds well, is pretty flexible, and sets really fast. on that note, there are a ton of different epoxies which excel at different applications, so knowing what you are going to epoxy would yield a better product for a specific application
i would just use hardman, this other stuff made by Devon called liquid metal works really good too. really any flexible epoxy would work. one id stay away from though is Devon 5 min. epoxy. it works really well for quick rental repairs, but doesnt really last in the long run
Be careful when your using epoxy- it's very toxic, you need to use impermeable gloves and a mask with filters when you use it and make sure you're in a ventilated area.
