Jorgen.:
This thread is simply to share my experience with my local shop.

For background read - https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/398677/

The shop wanted to replace my skis and if that wasn't possible then the other two options would apply. They ended up finding a replacement pair of skis for me. The skis they messed up were a pair of 07 Dumonts. They got replace by 08 or this years Dumonts and they paid for the mount and wax.

I've read all the stories of mounts messed up and skis damaged were the shop just paid for the mount and that was it. In all those threads there numerous posts telling the thread maker to go back a bitch and moan till they get new skis. I'm soo stoked that my local shop is so legit that they were willing to straight up replace my skis and take full responsibility.

Just wanted to share my experience with all of NS.

PS - If you live on Vancouver Island or even Van. Take your shit to Ski Tak Hut up in Courtney, they'll take care of you.
