Difference between "flat bars" and "barrel" rails?
I am able to switch up/spin out/grip a "barrel" rail, be it single or double, much better than a "bar" shaped rail. it pisses me the fuck off too cuz i encounter many "bar" rails and i can't do shit on them. fuck. help. thanks. bye.
it might be bcuz on a barrell, the side is circular so its easier to put ur ski on the side to push off of but on a flat bar, putting ur ski on the "corner"/side of the rail is harder and you have trouble doing it cuz it wants to stay flat on the rail. if that makes sense, but thats weird cuz its usually the opposite.
dude doesn't matter the rail, but it just makes sence that barrels are easier, you have an infinite amount of grip points, but on a flat bar there's two, the edges mainly
it doesn't affect me though, anyrail
i'm not sure which i find easier to grip, but i find it much easier to balance and lock into a flat bar, they're so much less sketchy to balance on. as for switchups and spins, i don't notice much of a difference
