How do you roll a joint?

This girl's having a sweet 16 tomorrow (on a yacht! /claim) and some of my friends came up to me today and told me they wanted to blaze for the party. Now I've smoked twice before and they were both with friends so I've never rolled a joint. I've got the weed and paper fine from a friend, but the girls are all first-timers and I've only started.

So wtf do I do, I've seen some tips online but I'm still kinda unsure of what to do?

i dont think ill be able to describe rolling that well, so i'd suggest googling the dollar bill method. it usually works nicely and is a lot easier

but seriously, take the paper, fold it in half longways if it isnt already, fill with weed, fold one side over, tuck and roll licking the closing flap as you do so.

i prefer just using a bowl

so at this point I'm just considering making a homemade bong out of a waterbottle
I have the general idea but what should I make the tube out of?
I'm hesitant to use a straw since I'm not too keen on inhaling burnt plastic

If you've got a whole pack of papers just practice with the same weed until you roll a nice joint.

The key is packing the weed then getting the paper to overlap nicely which is probably the trickiest part, then sealing it up nicely.

It takes a lot of joint rolling to get good though so you should probably use a piece.

OR

roll the joints ahead of time by wrapping the paper around a pen, taking it off, closing one end then stuffing the weed in very slowly, make sure to pack it down nicely. Don't do this in front of girls you are trying to impress, stick em in your hat and pull em out when you go to smoke.

Make sure to break your weed up well.

If you get desperate use an apple, not a can.

chances are your not gonna be able to roll something respectable within your first few tries or by tommrowo . I found that I learned to roll faster on blunts and jays are harder but thats me. The way I looked at it was rolling up a dollar bill like a sleeping bag. Like rolling one end to the other and making it small. IF you just take your time and get the paper to roll correctly you should be able to have somehting somewhat enjoyable. If i were you id find someone who good to roll and have them roll it or get a apple .

you could always just buy a little joint roller they are only a few bucks, most places that have hand scales and stuff will have them

id say go to your local headshop... pick up something called a kingpin... its like a perfect pre-rolled cone blunt... rolling a j takes practice, its a form of art and if you disagree you have not smoked a good joint

I remember when I first started smoking, the way we rolled was with a dollar bill. Its hard to explain. But google it. Its secretly for n00bs but it looks badass when you do it.

if youre gonna make a waterbottle bong use one of those pens with the metal tips that you can unscrew for the stem. unscrew the tip and turn it upside down and put it back in the pen then make a bowl with aluminum foil around that, works like a charm

if you have cigarettes just get the tobacco out of those and practice with that instead of bud, or i would say just smoke out of the apple.. easier and way delicious.. make sure you eat it afterward.. haha

if you never have and you are rolling for other people, dont do it, unless you have like 5 hours on your hands to practice, or if you are naturally good. just get a piece or something...even an apple.

but if you must roll a joint, i'd start with the pencil method. roll the paper around a pencil or a round pen, twist off one end, and fill it up with ground bud, packing it down firm with a pokey often.

Take a water bottle
poke a hole through the side

take a pen apart and take the tube part of the pen out and stick it in the hole ,take the cap from off the water bottle and tape it to the end of the pen, poke a hole in the cap so that you can put the weeed in the cap

cover the cap with aluminum foil

Most people reading this will be well practiced the art of rolling a decent, smokeable joint. However, for those with more thumbs than fingers and a zero rating on the Kudos scale, here are few basic tips

apples are a good solution. Cheap and totally unsuspicious of being able to smoke out of it haha

crush up your weed really fine with scissors or a grinder.
Put your paper on a surface. Put about 0.5-0.7 on the paper.
Pick it up, be careful not to drop any and make it into a half pipe, the sticky part and weed inside.
Now take the not sticky end of the paper and put it over the weed and tuck it in,creating a cricle
Now you'll see its starting to be formed.
Now you want to try and tighten it as much as you can.
nnow lick the stick part and roll it over creating the joint.
now twist one end really good, but make sure you dont twist to much.
Now you hold the J with the twisted end down and carefully put more weed if needed into the open end.
Now the open end put in a filter if you want and if not just twist it a tiny little bit and it should be quite smokeable!

just use the dollar bill mentioned in here, it's the easiest. honestly you should be able to do that method your first time, simple as all hell. the REAL way to roll them, don't go there haha. they're first time smokers too so they won't even know the difference. fuck fuck joints, it's all about the blunts.
