So about three mornings ago i spilled water on my year old macbook. And by spilled, i mean i poured water straight into the computer. I watched a large glass worth of water disapear into the keyboard. After shitting out my own heart, i proceeded to take the battery out, bury the computer in a wok of rice, put the wok under the furnace, schedual an appointment for that night for the genius bar, cry, and go to school.
I get home, take the computer out of the rice, and turn it on. It starts going, flickering lights, and than crashes. Again I try, to no avail, for a third time i ram my finger into the power key. As a single tear falls in between the "G" and "H" key, the computer jumps to life.
I go to the genius bar at the apple store anyway, succesfully voiding the 3 year apple care program. The 13 year old asian pops my computer apart in a jiffy, an finds very little traces of water, bumping rice past everything else to come out of the far east in terms of importance.
Now a day later, I realize every time a dramatically tilt my computer, a nasty sound like a iron bar going though a wood chipper emits from the depths of my waterboarded computer. I recon that one just one damn peice of rice is in there, putting rices inportance back below orage chicken and video games. Poor Guy.
So now, i call upon newschoolers, what do i do? back to the genius bar, tear the computer open, leave it alone, or pee in the computers proverbial butt.
Love, Julian.
SPARKNOTES: saved a drowned computer with rice, rice got into the computer, whatever to do?
