What ski to buy?

Okay, so as much i would love to buy some fat (rockered) twin like hellbents or chopsticks, i need to be honest with myself.
- I wont be in pow that much. Most of the time i will be riding park.

Here is my situation: So i work(ed this summer) as a Snowboard instructor at an Indoor slope in Europe. And i got the opportunity to learn skiing. After like 3/4 months now I am kind of hooked, So i want buy my own ski's but i dont know what to get.

ive tested some Rossignols: The S3, S4, S2, Zenit11?? and some Rossi slalom 160 80mm waist. Dont know exact.

What i liked was the payfullness of the S2
The steadyness of the S3
and i love carving on the SL ski's (people there tell me i have fluid snowboard style)

Ive made a list of ski's i think will do for me. but maybe u guy's have things to ad, tips, reccomendations and things u dont reccoment.

discorderly's
kung fujas
fujatives
Line cronics
Rossi S3
Antidogma's

So about me: im 6.1 ish (188cm) 171pounds(78kg). I wouldnt say im a bad skier annymore. (prob better than some of the other teachers walking around)(CLAIM) Trying to improve alot on park. i like jumps & rails.

Ok, if I see this well. You like carving.    I am thinking. Dynastar contact 4X4 ( the new model) I tried them the other day. They are the sickest pair of skis, you will ever rider. You will hit long radius and short radius with a charm. And freeride wise they aren`t that bad. ( 4x4 ) If not try going for the Dynastar contact Groove. This ski is a tad softer . Specialle for you with 170 pounds. Your best bet is most deffinatly a Dynastar contact 4X4.!!!

Thanks for reacting! But those dynastars dont look like park ski's at all :).
Im lookig for park orientated ski's.
i mean I liked carving when there was nothing to do but now since weve got this little park setup wont be doing that annymore.

Ohhhhh! Ok, sorry about that one.

You really want to go for the Dynastar trouble markers then. Sickest park ski ever. A little stiff, but skis nicely all over the mountain.    ** No, I do not work for Dynastar :P:P

I had a talk with some kids about K2's skis.  I personally loved my K2 skis and it got me hooked and dedicated to K2. you'll find some K2 skis to be very playfull. i decided im going with the K2 kung fujas this year. they look sick and theyre an all mountain - park twin tip which is exactly what i need.

you sound like you have a little more park skiing in you so maybe you should go with the K2 dissordelys, they're to be the top K2 park ski so check into those.

it may be hard to reach the playfulness and steadiness of the skis you liked at the same time because most of the time playful=softer and steady=stiffer... but not always the case.  I think the chronics would be a good choice for you, they have good pop and responsiveness and are a verrry solid ski that will hold up to most anything you throw at it.

another ski similar to the chronics on your list are the k2 extremes, how ever these i believe are just the PEs with different graphics(someone correct me if i am wrong).... in my expeience with the PEs they are pretty stiff and a solid ski but they lack the life and pazaz if you will that many other park skis have, i suppose they could be called more of an all mtn twin.

Thanks for the help guy's So i narrowed it to the Extremes and the Chronics.
Still confused where to mount cus there are like 2 camps: one that says mount -2 an the other says mount center.

Ill prob be using them like 85% park once ill get going.

Anny sugestions where to buy fo a good price (in europe)?
ive found extremes for: 350:- euro's
And Chronics for 420,- Euro's

for the mounting question, i would go -2... those skis are not symmetrical so mounting them center would decrease the performance of the ski

i would say definitely go with the extremes. they are super bomber (made by k2 so that's what you can expect) as well as light and poppy. I've only heard good things about them, and, they don't have a super expensive price tag. As far as bindings/mounting go, i would recommend you go to your shop and ask them what you should do. if you're skiing a ton of park, i would consider you look at center mount even though you're an intermediate. for bindings, i would look at the salomon sth 14s for somebody average sized like you, they are bombproof, light, and have a DIN of 14. They are a little on the pricier side, but I would recommend them for you definitely. Hope that helps!

Line Anthem or Reno Jib, get something symmetrical, it will be easier to learn on, and it will carve fine, especially switch.  The Anthems have a forgiving fled, but the Moments are more solid and could most likely carve better.

Looked into the Moments to bad there are no dealers over here. They look nice and good dimenstions.
Im worried anthems will be to small im (6.1...) and that they wont hold up when i want to carve.
