So whats up with ARG's

im going to ski my args for the first time tomorrow at snowbird. i'll let you know then

word! i would also like to know, my last years JJs got fucked up today and i was considering this years j's or args.

jj's and ARG's are very different skis.  ARG's are strictly pow skis and really suck otherwise, but i heard there epic in pow.  jj's are more all mountain skis

Well last years JJs are very different than the Args but this years have a very similar flex and shape... Also the Args are more versitle than "strictly powder skis" i find they work fine in crud, chopped up pow. and wind blown shit. they also have enough edge to get you down to the lift and back with ease. but they do feel like snowblades on groomers.

ARGs are way responsive so for trees they are great cuz you can pop an weave or whatever and youll have a  ton of control. for open pow and shit like that the ARGs are gonna be good cuz its what they were designed for specifically. their way sensative so if your debating between them and the JJs its just personal pref of how you want your ski to feel ARGs are again more sensative and responsive and the float is obviously good, the JJs are less sensative but still give good control and their more like a traditional ski than the ARGs for sure. ARGs are not for groomers at all so if your planning on skiing some on piste shit with your pow skis the ARGs prolly arent as good for you as the JJs would be, but its not hard to take two pairs of skis and just switch when the pow is gone.
