Frozen Ebrake Lines

so i left my car outside last nite with the ebrake on since i was parked on a hill, i just took it out and the ebrake completely locked at the bottom of my street, so i got out and pulled on the cables a bit and i got it back to my house and now its inside with a heater blowing on the rear but anyways does anyone know if it'll be okay or should i get it in to the mechanic (which would really piss me off since i just dropped a grand on snow tires and rear brake rotors and pads which ive probably burnt to shit now haha)

Yeah man I have had mine freeze on before just let it thaw and all shall be well again.

happened in the baker parking lot. just bash as much of it off as you can, let the rest thaw. park your shit in 1st unless absolutely necessary for the ebrake

my ebrake doesnt work i slam it well driving just to freak out people and i live on a hil and drive a manual so yea im screwed on day

yea mine froze once. i just thawed it out and then took apart the housing and found it was full of water so i just pumped it full of mad grease so it wont freeze as easily any more. i still try not to use it overnight or when its wicked cold out though.

yeah im thinking ill just not use it when its cold from now on, its in the garage on flat ground and in first rite now, i can park it flat at school too, one time i actually just spaced out and left it in neutral with no brake... my friends pushed it across the lot and freaked me out

if you are not using it regularly, it might have jammed, and the only possibility is to cut the brake line and install a new one, people with automatic cars are at risk, because most of them dont use their ebrakes, and you should always have your ebrake on even with a manual car, because instead of putting all the pressure on your brakes (which they are designed for....)  you put the pressure on your transmission and it might break more often
