..or does it look really gay when snowboarders 50/50 rails/boxes. It's just like sack up and do a boardslide for once. haha

50/50s can be sick with a legit nose/tail press but yea a straight 50/50 is pretty lame

i've been thinking the same thing lately. I've seen quite a few edits with snowboarders in them lately, and they're almost always 50/50'ing urbans, and maybe adding a 180 off. They might look good with presses and stuff, but they still look a lot better when they're doing boardslides.

at my home mtn Bigwhite in the park there are probly about 50 different boarders i have seen who do that kind of stuff and then can like 5 the big jumps its crazy how many are at that level

yeah, i dont board but i can see a 5050 being alot harder and requiring more balance on a rail than on a box, they are noobish on a box but on an urban boardslides might be easier. i dunno iim just a skier lol

i actually can snowboard prett well ( i can 3 and 5 decent size tables) but im way better at skiing, and 50/50 are harder than they seem on urban rails but nothing special. on boxes it is like you are on snow so its easy. i think they look weird.

I think that 5050's on kinked round rails are way legit, urban or not. (I'm specifically thinking about Jeremy Jones on this one, the dude slays)

thats not a 50-50. thats a nosepress. fuckin skiers.

i dont see the difference between a 50-50 and grinding on skis. its the same body position. and yes, i've done rails on skis before.
