i was quoting that because that is what you quoted when you said "get an rs4" and yes, there is more than just horsepower that makes the wrx different from the sti.

i like the Rexs and Evos but once you step inside a german luxury car youll never go back. Most people who pick up a bmw never own anything else. Also, most sti and evo kids end up growing up and stepping up to the german cars when they get older. For me the snotty loud rumble of a wrx is awesome but very punk kid persona.

I would never ever go German...
My brother owns a TT and whenever that thing has a problem, he's spending a fortune to fix it. They're nice...but you better hope you don't encounter any problems down the road.

I have a great ski wagon its a shame the most recent tires put on it blow. I'd love to get some new rubber. 04 Volvo XC 70. Seats folded down with a mattress in the back so long drives aren't dangerous (can't sleep when sitting up) and I can sleep at the mountain couple hrs until first chair. This is the one place I can brag about my soccer mom whip OOO YAAAA!

they do make great cars but all cars have there pluses and minuses. I have owned many german cars, american cars and jap cars. I like them all honestly.

after living in germany for 3 years, and riding in countless audis, benz, and having the Porshe Headquarters in my town in germany... i like them a lot more than a stupid ford or something.

while we are on ferrari's i'll share these. They are all at the SLC ferrari dealer. The owner stores them at the dealership and when he wants to drive one he just goes to the dealer and picks it up.

Down in Miami I hear at least one Ferrari or Lamborghini rip past my campus each day. It's ridiculous. And the dealership only like 4 minutes away...omg...I can't...

i live in ft myers/naples soooooooo many rich 70 year old ex ceos  adn 50 something current ceos, driving raris, lambos, masers, fuckin  everything you can imagine around here see an exotic daily, and have for the last 4 years living here its awesome.  and all their kids drive m3's and all sorts of amgs its insanity.

My school's composites lab is funded my Lamborghini. I do research that involves sending italian super cars into concrete walls at 200kph. If you are lucky enough to own one, I don't recomend repeating the tests. I will try and get a video next time we destroy a frame.

I know a kid that lives in/around Ft. Myers. Drives an 06/07 WRX with a 6 speed STi tranny swap. Thing's slammed to the ground on Work XD9s and tons of other goodies. Obnoxious oil cooler...FMIC...Hood scoop delete. Thing's got a lot of money poured into it. And then along with that he drives an AMG -_-

sounds about right lmao i dont know who that is but theres a loooootttt of people with slammed s2ks,a couple wrxs amongst other shit some bmws of different vintages, but most choose just to spend the money they wud dump into a car, on getting anicer new car and end up with a merc or bmw haha, and here i am driving my 01 accord like a boss

It's not a lotus, its a Hennessy Venom. Which is an American company. The only thing "lotus" about that car is the chassis, but even that was chopped and extended. And it has a twin-turbo'd Z06 engine, aka a muscle car engine. Sure it's not a true muscle car but that 1200 beast will beat almost anything in a straight line.

Yeah it is, just longer. But all the internals are either custom made or taken from other cars. That car is a beast though. Probably faster than the Bugatti Veyron if they could max it out (est. top speed is 272MPH)

for anyone psychotic enough to get behind the wheel of that thing..if I ever had a death wish I would strap myself into that thing and go like a bat outta hell

selling my TJ in a few weeks, its about time I get another rig and start building it up from the ground..I need some input from NSers about what to buy and build next...

My only two serious considerations are:
- 2000-2005 Jeep wrangler TJ
- 1998(?)-2004 Toyota tacoma

I know more than enough about wranglers so I don't really need anyone to convince me to buy a TJ, but I don't know much more than the basics about taco's..anything to avoid/seek? Engine/tranny/rear axle combos? Any bad years to watch out for? The only bad thing about both of these trucks is the insanely high resale values so it's gonna cost me a pretty penny to get my hand on a clean and unmolested model for either of these

jeeps are cool but IMO the whole "jeep thing" doesnt outweigh the impracticality behind it. not enough cargo room to be an adequate ski vehicle and it sucks to drive in long distance. that being said, when I was growing up my dad built a cj7 and currently drives this beaut. both of which I loved.

I've driven a 599 GTO - Greatest car out there right now IMO - spine tingling... just the noise...

I too, would consent to having my back door kicked in for at least a month for that car....
