i actually dig this car a lot....love how its basically stock for the most part no ricer parts thrown onto it like half of the dam stupid "slammed" cars in the other thread. Very clean and looks badass.

Its easier to keep clean then gloss! The only thing you have to watch out for is it doesnt like gas/oil/grease. But bird crap/dust/bugs etc very easy to clean.

My car is all oem chrysler 300 srt8 parts, except my dynomax exhaust kit and CAI and radar detector, my headlights in this picture arent stock but are back to stock now! I like the stock look, just completly matte black'd out lol

There is a difference between slightly lowered on performance suspension for increased handling and scraping your oil pan on the ground with a notched frame and cheap, shitty coils. Perhaps it is you who does not understand this.

You may be correct, but the fact like two people knew that coil overs were adjustable suspension completely threw me off guard. That kid slammed his car, and it looks sick! No shit it's not practical for winter, which is why he will raise it.

I've considered it, but it's basically become my winter car (the wagon is my daily, and I have a motorcycle for nice days) so a drop wouldn't be very practical. Not to mention, the stock STI suspension is amazing for all around. I try to stay practical>Style

you ever seen that matte black cayenne cruising around edmonton? an older guy who has some sort of ownership in the municipal airport owns it.... It has upgraded turbos and all the goodies on it, it is a fucking beast.

I guess his bill when it was all said and done through our work was pushing 80k. It is pretty hard to miss it, its matte black wide body cayenne driven by an older dude with gray hair.

I have had to deliver it to the airport a few times in my younger days at work and he would always ask how i "liked the ride?" and if i "ripped on it". Pretty nice guy if you ever meet him.

yeah i've seen that! such a sick car. i was on whyte ave one saturday and i saw an older Porsche in matte black. it was elegant with kind of a hot rod touch.

yeah there are 2 matte black 996 911's i know of. One is super modified engine and suspension wise and the other i am not entirely sure about.

The super modified one has racing style wheels with a single wheel nut holding the wheel on and a giant banner on the back of the hatch with some sort of "cure blindness" slogan because he must do charity work for a vision related medical research group. That car is borderline a legit race car.

the one i saw had a nice set or rims on it but there wasn't any kind of a banner. i don't think it was lowered at all though.

yeah i've been thinking about buying a classic / restoration car or a ricer for the summer and i'll just drive my pathfinder in the winter.

This dude, I really like this dude. But ya its just a plain ole impreza 5 speed, with a wrx catback, hybrid intack, some K&N Drop in filters and a few other little mods. I do get asked if it's a wrx all the time though.

I just drive a car, don't really care about them, so knowing nothing doesn't matter to me. And yeah, I think lowering a car with like 170 horsepower that maxes out at 90 mph is stupid.

Is the car fast? na, not at all. But it handles like its on rails and it's an absolute blast to drive. Especially on the back roads up to the mountains. I would much rather have a slow car that handles and is fun, than some fast car that handles like shit and you can only drive in a straight line. If you've ever driven a stock impreza from 08-now you would know that they handle like complete boats with an extensive amount of body roll.
