Fuck the haters. A dodge magnum has a ton of potential. Dont get the saab or volvo or r32 unless you have a thing for being anally raped by maintenance costs. Also dont get the pontiac or toyota, those things are full on Senior Chang gay.

It's also part SAAB and a bitch/expensive to repair, depending on whether you do it yourself or have someone else do it. Mine is being a bitch :( not getting full boost, lots of oil and crud in the intake manifold, disappearing coolant, the list goes on

ive owned 2 saabs, yes they can be expensive, but if maintained at the intended intervals, replacing parts on time, etc, they will run for ever.  if any car isnt taken care of and given regular maintence its gonna break, and generally be expensive, whether toyota or saab.

So are you attempting to say I am wrx dickrider? Because if that was on his list I would have said do something different and to not be a trendwhore.

Saga is to NS what a wrx or a sti is to NS. A trend. Dont get me wrong I think they are a great car to build and loads of fun to drive, but I feel many decisions to get those cars are based on the fact that they are the "cool" thing to drive nowadays.

Me, I'll stick to American muscle thanyouverymuch.jpg.

The 99s arent 5.0s. Its a 4.6L V8. The fox bodys are sick. They are fast and cheap. If you want something a bit newer, look for like a 98-2000 GT. not as fast, but you get a little newer stuff including the interior

haha no man not you it jsut happened to be your post saying dont get the saab, i chose to quote it to make a joke at the expense of NS about how they love subys so much, because the 9-2x and wrx are almost the same car.

and please get the fox they are rad as fuck i have hella respect for both turbo 4s having owned 2 my self, as well as v8s, i wanna get a v8 for whatever car i get next.

not really, I mean I dont race everyone I see. I like to keep that shit on the track. I get on it every now and then but I like to keep money in my pocket diesel aint cheap.


but after a night at bandimere I average like 10. but just daily driving to and form work it is about 19-20.

I tend to agree about the sedan, but mine in black-with the big red AMG calipers and carbon fiber spoiler etc...It looks pretty sweet. I didn't like the look as much but it grew on me, plus the interior is now spectacular -it's a totally different car to the old one,-has a wet clutch instead of torque converter and forged pistons and rods and other internals from the SLS. Same transmission and dynamic settings too and the same launch control.... MB have done a great job...

I agree but I plan on changing that. If I get it I'll be completely redoing the interior and will eventually get it painted either grey or black. I know though, red on red makes me wanna barf.

Yeah too bad Im not getting it. Now hear me out, Im getting hooked up...

Buddy of mine that I work with is a car nut (built a 700 rwhp mustang with 300 shot of nitrous). He is also a mechanical engineer and has agreed to help me build this car. 1992 Trans Am with two motors and a brand new out of the box t5 tranny for 2500. For 3000 I can also probably get a brand new paint job.

One motor has 120k which Ill use while Im building the other (60k). Car also has a full exhaust on it but the rest is pretty much stock.

I honestly dont mind the look of the 92 T-Bird. Kinda looks like a corvette. It's black with a black interior btw.

Why do you say that? My dad has a '63 chevy ii. he just mounted new brackets for a 572 crate. There was no problem fitting the block with heads etc. The only thing that has to get changed is the battery moved to the trunk. But, trying to fit that with a 6L80 means that a new floor needs to be put in, that being a '73 Camaro, so the tranny has extra clearance for external computers and shit. Chevlles, being larger and having larger engine compartments/bays, would make it even simpler to fir the 572, let alone a smaller engine. need pics?

It would be pretty hard to do from scratch, but it was super easy since i bought a fairly cheap wiring harness from subimods,com. With that, its basically a plug and play.

So I'm now looking for a winter car. I have my mustang for the summer but theres no way I'm driving it in the winter. Since I still owe money on my stang now I'm really trying to pay it off, then find something as cheap as I can for the winter. I was thinking of an old ford focus or something and just putting studded snow tries on it, but does anyone else have any extremely cheap alternatives for winter beaters? Something decent on gas would be nice, but I know beggars can't be choosers. I'm planning on saving a little more if I can and just buying whatever I can get dirt cheap.
Thanks for any ideas.
