well my little brother just sent me the money and I started ordering parts. I am building his S4 while he is deployed for the next 8 months. Which makes it 2 builds in my garage right now as I have the ls1 stripped and hopefully Im going to pick up a clean s13 chassis next week.





Anyway plans for s4 are Tial 605s with inlets, built bottom end, 2.8 heads with super tech goodies, fuel is coming from bosch 044 and the rest of the fuel system haven't figured out yet. bunch of other shit and to make sure that they flow as perfect as possible 034 3.5 in downpipes with no cats to a 4 inch exhaust. Shit is gonna sound nasty.

Thanks dude.

I'm a pretty active member on S|W and I've had a few threads on it. I never had plans to modify this car, then I started reading about "stance" and got hooked. A lot of people poked fun at it since it's Kia, but I had an ending goal in mind and figured out a way to get there. Thousands of dollars later here it is. I'm fairly happy with the way its sitting, but over winter I plan to do stuff to make it even better.

in the s13 thats around what I'm hoping for but in all honesty I may just build the motor for cheap and sell it to a friend, I am soon joining the real world and don't want to spend too much money until I find a job after school, so we will see

in my brothers car 450awhp would be easy on lower boost, 25psi nets around 500whp and the same amount of torque, with the motor built he will probably be going for around 28-30 psi and meth so over 550whp should be attainable on his high boost and meth map.

but we will see


spent all of yesterday at the street rods nationals here in york and then crusied all night

4500+ cars, some monsters out on the streets, including a fd3 single turbo rx7 that was spitting flames like crazy

spent the day at my friends booth, east coast muscle cars, all 4 cars in the booth made over 600whp, including a 895 horse 70 nova full tube frame and motor built by race crafters

anyway went cursing in my buddys 69 ss in that picture, saw some real fucking monsters, full blown drag cars out cruising, an old asain guy with a supra claimed over 900 horse, lighting up the tires at 60 so I wouldn't doubt it, a shit ton of hot rods and muscle cars, yesterday was the day i fell in love with big badass v8s, don't get me wrong I love big turbo jap and euro cars still, but just the feeling of a 1200hp v8 rolling by in a parking lot and the ground literally vibrating was just awesome


plus I was hammered so everything seemed 10x awesome

haha a good portion of wrx/sti's have major engine failure prematurely. #4 cylinder failure is golden.

The only dealership in town that has to STOCK engines for inventory because they are so common.

I dont know the exacts behind it but there is a design flaw in the 2.5 liter engine that causes #4 issues. My one buddy from subaru explained it to me but i have forgot the details.
